As professional painting contractors we have established volume discounts for select brands of paint - Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, Pittsburgh Paints, and Behr. We use Benjamin Moore more often than all other brands due to their high quality and our customers' brand preference. We share our discounts with our customers.
By popular demand we present the Top 10 Interior Paint Colors from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. These can be a great starting point if you start to feel overwhelmed when wading through the thousands of color choices available. You can click on the colors below and view them online, but remember that your computer screen will make the colors appear somewhat lighter than they will actually look on your walls. Enjoy!

Some Useful Links To Help Guide Your Color Selection
Choosing the Right Sheen
There are 4 main considerations when determining the right paint sheen (luster) for your rooms. The range in sheen is measured on a 100 point scale with flat at 0 and a mirror at 100. Eggshell is between 5 and 35 (tending toward the higher end). Keep in mind that paint manufacturers' definitions vary.
1. Your personal preference. Some people like their walls a little shiny, others not so much. Ceilings are almost always done with a flat paint. When painting doors, trim, cabinets/vanities or baseboards the most common choice is semi-gloss with satin as a distant runner up. For a high end finish on woodwork you may want to consider using oil paint.
2. The humidity range in the room. If you don't have excellent ventilation then your bathroom will benefit from something other than flat (eggshell is most commonly used). A flat finish repels moisture least. The downside of raising the sheen in a bathroom is that you may find that moisture beads up and then runs in rivlets down the walls leaving trails to either wipe each day or ignore.
3. Washability. Flat paint is not washable (it will leave streaks). Children's hand prints usually mean either a matte/low sheen (one step up from flat) or eggshell finish. Both are washable. In general, the more expensive the paint the better it can withstand repeated wiping. Also the shinier the easier to clean.
4. The overall condition of your walls. Flat paint is much more forgiving of any surface imperfections. Plaster is rarely perfect. Patches are usually smoother than the surrounding areas. The higher the sheen the more the light's reflection will highlight any surface issues..
Health Concerns - What is ZERO VOC?
The potentially harmful irritants found in traditional latex paints are known as VOC or Volatile Organic Compounds. If you have small children, are pregnant, or suffer from allergies/asthma or sensitvity to paint fumes then you will definitely benefit from a Zero VOC paint. We offer multiple options to ensure that no one's health is compromised due to the paint used in your home.
So Many Different Types of Paint - So Little Time
There are literally hundreds of different paints available from multiple paint manfacturers. Within each company's product line there are many options which can make the selection process somewhat daunting. The price range goes from the teens per gallon to $100 a gallon. Here are some guidelines to narrow your choices.
1. Are you a wall washing type of person? If so you will not want a low end paint because it will not stand up to repeated encounters with a sponge or magic eraser.
2. Are you painting an area that receives a lot of sunlight? The more expensive paints have a greater concentration of pigment which reduces the amount of fading.
3. Are you painting over or have you chosen a vivid color (red, yellow, orange, green, or dark colors)? You may find it to be a better value to buy a better grade of paint (that will cover in 2 coats) versus paying for an additional coat to be applied.
